Fiddle & bow in hand, Blaine is on the road.

“If You’re Gonna Play In Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)” proclaims Alabama's hit song. So who did the supergroup call upon to fiddle that memorable chart topper?

Blaine Sprouse.

With his much-anticipated return to the stage, Blaine’s heart is answering the fiddler’s call. As he stated in a Frets Magazine profile, “Music is my life. I just love to play.”

Since mid-February, Blaine has returned to fiddling, filling in with Peter Feldmann's Very Lonesome Boys and doing some trio work with Peter along with Rick Cunha, all to date in California where Blaine now resides.

But mark your calendars! March 26 begins the spring swing through a number of states, with a variety of concerts, workshops and festivals on the menu. Of special note is an intensive, hands-on workshop planned for the Wind Gap (PA) Bluegrass Festival (pre-registration required) in June. Click on Tour Calendar to the right for all appearance dates and details! See the contact info (below right) for booking inquiries.

On the right sidebar are links to Blaine's Facebook and ReverbNation fan pages, as well as to many memorable performance clips. Check out Blaine's Store, the only place on the Web where you can find all of his earlier recordings.
